LBQ womn with the support of @womenatweb_rw attended a 2-Day Training on Digital Rights and Storytelling that happened on the 2-3rd December.
LBQ activists mentioned the need of acquiring digital literacy to support their work in digital platforms.
Digital literacy curriculum was offered by Women at Web specifically on the areas such as Digital Storytelling where after completing this training, participants understand the ‘digital storytelling’ concept, know how [a selection of] digital platforms can be used for digital storytelling, and are able to use these platforms for personal and professional storytelling.
Digital Resilience, after completing this training, participants are aware of the importance of safeguarding their mental health while participating online, are able to recognize different aspects that might affect their mental health [cyber bullying/trolling/loneliness] and apply strategies to mitigate these.
